Commerce, Calif. – Supersonic Inc. Electronics recently introduced a set-top Internet device powered by Google’s Android operating system.
The Supersonic Inc Electronics SC-66G ($199) Android-powered set-top box features a wireless full-size keyboard and Wi-Fi capability. The SC-66G, which is shipping now at a $199 suggested retail, has Wi-Fi capability, four USB ports and a MicroSD card slot, as well as SATA, Ethernet and HDMI ports.
The set-top box ships with a wireless remote/full-size keyboard and a 2.5-inch touch mousepad.
Supersonic offers both a Google TV set-top and a Google TV… TV.
The latest from SuperSonic is a set top box that includes the Google TV platform and Android operating system.
The set-top, of course, includes the ability to YouTube, Hulu, check your email, the weather and more. It also boasts the ability to play back a wide range of file formats including XviD, H.263 and WMV.
The box, called the SuperSonic Internet TV Box, comes along with a wireless keyboard with a touchpad built right in. You can pick it up at a price of $199
